Is NextCatch free?
Yes. Core event planning — event calendar, verdicts, search, widgets, Live Activities, Siri Shortcuts, calendar sync, and offline mode — is free. Raid coordination uses a free account, and NextCatch+ is an optional upgrade for trainers who want personalization, deeper analysis, and raid queue priority.
What events does NextCatch cover?
Everything: Community Days, Raid Hours, Spotlight Hours, GO Battle League seasons, Research events, ticketed events like GO Fest, and more. If Niantic announces it, NextCatch has it.
How does NextCatch get event data?
I pull from official Pokémon GO announcements and enrich each event with meta-game data. Every event includes a verdict and breakdown based on what actually matters to trainers.
Does NextCatch access my Pokémon GO account?
No. NextCatch never connects to your Pokémon GO account. Event browsing does not require an account. Raid rooms use Sign in with Apple and a trainer profile so hosts and guests can coordinate friend-code handoff. I never sell your information.
What's included in NextCatch+?
NextCatch+ adds play-style personalization (6 profiles: Casual, Shiny Hunter, XP Chaser, Raider, PvP Battler, Collector), a "For Me" event filter, weekly brief, enhanced event analysis, PvP and PvE rankings, raid and max battle counters, raid queue priority, encounter stats, exclusive move analysis, weekend planner, Community Day checklist, event stacking detection, and all-event notifications.
Can I use NextCatch offline?
Yes. Events are cached locally on your device. You can check your schedule and event details even without an internet connection.
Is NextCatch available on Android?
Not yet. NextCatch is on iPhone now, and Android is coming soon.
How do I manage my NextCatch+ subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. You can manage, upgrade, or cancel your NextCatch+ subscription from there.
How often is event data updated?
Events are synced automatically from official announcements. Most events appear in the app within a couple hours of Niantic posting them.
How do widgets work?
NextCatch offers small and medium Home Screen widgets plus a Lock Screen widget that show your upcoming events. Long-press your Home Screen, tap the + button, search for NextCatch, and choose your preferred size.
What are Live Activities?
When a Pokémon GO event is currently active, NextCatch can show it on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island in real time — including a countdown to when it ends.
I found incorrect event information. How do I report it?
Post it in Discord or r/NextCatch with the event name and what needs correcting, or email support. I take accuracy seriously and will update the information as quickly as possible.
Can I request a feature?
Absolutely. Post your idea in Discord or r/NextCatch. I read community feedback and use it to prioritize what comes next.
